Bio

My interest in almost anything has led me down various different avenues in my life so far. I graduated with a first-class degree in Spanish and Italian from the University of Oxford. I got to spend time during that period living in Italy and Spain, where I taught English in a secondary school. When I had finished my degree I moved to Italy, living for a year in Naples, teaching English and taking great pleasure in getting to know an incredibly unique place. (Also witnessing the fervent celebrations of Napoli’s first league win since Maradona). I then moved back to London to study an MA in European Studies, which was a degree in the social sciences, and, as part of this, moved to Paris for the second part of my studies. Since finishing that degree I have been learning computing and am currently a student at 42 London.

I am always curious, and I receive great benefit from conversation, and learning about others. Luckily, learning languages is a great way to explore anything whatsoever, and to do so with others. I think that fundamentally, if you’re interested in something, then you can learn a language while pursuing that interest. Of course, I would hope that you’re also interested in the language itself, but that can, if needs be, be secondary.
